The position offers a good balance between work and leisure with attractive working hours (06:45 - 16 with a 30-minute lunch, except on Fridays when we finish at 13). In addition, we have free access to our own gym, which is open 24/7.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• In your role as a team leader, you will have varied days where you, together with the customer and site manager, review the assignment documentation, which you then prepare with your team and ensure that the practical work is carried out.

The daily work includes the following:

• reviewing documentation
• technical detailed planning
• establishing budgets and timelines
• applying for various permits
• booking internal and external resources
• conducting material purchases
• syncing the assignment's resource needs with other ongoing projects
• collaborating with entrepreneurs and other contractors to minimize the impact on third parties
• leading those who carry out the practical work
• together with other leaders, establishing overarching planning and priorities
• ongoing monitoring and reporting against timelines and budgets
• billing
• ongoing work with safety and continuous improvements
• etc
• etc

Throughout the process, you will receive support through our operational systems and your colleagues.

The focus of the position will vary over time but will include most tasks from building new streets, roundabouts, water reservoirs, walls, paving to performing both planned and emergency maintenance work on the water and sewage network, etc. The assignments often include coordinating your own operations with other actors who are laying pipes for vacuum waste collection, district heating, cables (high/low voltage), street lighting, and fiber.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have genuine experience working in leadership roles within contracting or construction operations or equivalent. To succeed in your role, you also need knowledge in several of the areas listed below, but not necessarily all. The parts you lack, we will train you in as you go:

1. Technical knowledge and professional experience:
   • knowledge of earthworks, excavation, pipe laying, etc.
   • reading blueprints
   • experience working with or leading work with excavators, rollers, trucks, etc.
2. Leadership and planning skills:
   • contributing to a pleasant work environment so the whole team feels good and thrives
   • being able to lead, distribute, and follow up work on site, hold work meetings, and ensure that the right skills and resources are in place at the right time
   • ability to create and follow up timelines, manage deviations, coordinate with other contractors and clients
   • understanding of budgets, material orders, and logistics.
3. Regulations, guidelines, and safety
   • knowledge of work environment plans, risk assessments, safety devices, and routines for safety rounds
   • traffic management plans (TA plans)
   • environment and quality
4. Communication and documentation
   • good Swedish in speech and writing is needed for contact with clients, employees, subcontractors, citizens, and documentation
   • good knowledge of handling/using digital tools for work orders, digital blueprints, time reports, and deviations, etc.
5. Formal qualifications (desired)
   • vocational training in construction or water and sewage
   • experience as a machine operator, construction worker, or similar.
6. Meritorious knowledge (desired but not required)
   • setting out
   • knowledge of AMA codes and budgeting
   • industry training such as; Work on the road, EBR digging near cables, Safe excavation, BAS-U, etc.
   • knowledge in construction, fiber, and electrical work is meritorious
